What are Dermal Fillers?
Comprised of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance within our skin, dermal fillers are used to restore lost volume, create facial contour/definition and slow down the ageing process.
Premium CE approved dermal fillers are used in clinic for maximum results and your safety. If your concerns include thinning lips, sagging lower face, or a weak chin then dermal fillers could be your answer. A less is more approach is used when injecting fillers to ensure a natural result.
Depending on product choice and area of concern results can last 6-18months. However, aftercare and lifestyle choices are important with regards to the longevity of your filler, this will be discussed at your appointment.

How long will it last?
Dermal fillers can last between 9-18 months depending on the area and whether you have had dermal fillers in that area before. We use high quality dermal fillers to ensure longevity and high quality results.
How long does the treatment take?
This depends on what area you are having treated. Usually around 30-60 minutes.
When will I see results?
Your dermal filler will need time to settle, so your optimal results will be around 2 weeks.
Is there any downtime?
Is it painful?
Can I have treatment on the same day?
Dermal fillers can cause redness, swelling and bruising after treatment for 24-48 hours. Bruising can be present for 1-2 weeks post treatment, however with the use of arnica cream they will hopefully subside a little sooner for you.
We use topical numbing cream for dermal filler treatments as it can be slightly painful in certain areas, such as the lips. Our aim is to keep you as comfortable as possible during your treatment.
It is always recommended to have a consultation first and then a “contemplation period” where you can make an informed decision. However, it is possible to discuss and treat on the same day if preferred.
